Yes you're right. Status T only for V4.5.x. The Status E filtration reduces
the variance when creating the base lin. Best uses these calculations in the
background though and the tables created from the ink limiting will behave
the same.

Yes , there is a way to ink limit in Best with Lab data. When the Chroma
curve backs off as the ink overprinting becomes counter active the maximum
gamut can be had. Works very well, yet doesn't do much in the way of gray
balance.
