I recall when I used to think of you as a color management professional,
Andrew, who did his homework, became familiar with software, and tested
workflows before standing up in front of a group to demo them; and who knew
who to contact for technical assistance if problems came up. The
embarrassment is all yours.

Anyone found Profiler Pro 2.3 works with an EyeOne under OS 10.2.5?

Lets see... I'm running 10.2.5 at the moment, let me run this in real time.
First I'll launch ProfilerPRO 2.3 and load an EyeOne target... that works
fine for me. There was a bug with the EyeOne target naming in a previous
version, so if you didn't do a clean install of the software, you could still
be seeing that. Its a good idea to remove all elements of a software package
before installing an upgraded version to be sure you are getting all the
latest elements.
Now I'll launch MeasureTool and read a target with a ProfilerPRO reference
file... there is that problem with V4.1 failing to read beyond the first row,
but Gretag Macbeth fixed that with 4.11, so switching to a copy of 4.1.1
reads the target just fine from the reference file, as Iong as I select one
for the correct number of patches, if you try to use the 125 patch one for a
729 patch target, or visa versa, that will give the results Andrew
describes...
Next, close the measurement file, and when it asks, save and name it (nice of
Gretag Macbeth to remove the save button, and make it necessary to do it this
way...) that seems to have worked as expected, we'll see with the next step.
Open the data file in ProfilerPRO, and build a profile... that took about
five seconds. Now I'll preview the profile with Photoshop's Custom Proof
Setup. Looks fine there. I'd say that about covers it.
So the answer is: Yes, I've found that ProfilerPRO works with an EyeOne under
OS 10.2.5. If you would like to troubleshoot your specific issues in private,
feel free to contact me; or you could call ColorVision tech support.
