Nope. All you need is a RIP that offers linearization (calibration). By
calibrating your output you can over come changes in ambient conditions
(humidity and temperature) that affect how quickly ink is absorbed into the
paper. Epson print drivers don't offer a calibration method which why some
need to reprofile more frequently.
