I'm very happy with my NEC Multisync FP955. When I had a new system built (I'm pc based) a couple of years ago, I thought I'd get a Mitsubishi as I had been very pleased with my Mits Diamond Pro 87TXM (17"). When I went to the Mits site to check on newer 19" monitors (can't lift anything larger and desk space is also at a premium), I discovered that to get adjustable guns (for hardware calibration), I'd have to go larger than 19".
I remembered that NEC and Mits had merged so I went over to the NEC side of the site (see:
http://www.necmitsubishi.com/products/home/nec_index.cfm ) and found the FP955 which does have adjustable guns.
It looks like the current FP series monitor is FP912SB-BK (see:
http://www.necmitsubishi.com/products/home/ProductDetail.cfm?product_id=249&division=NEC url might wrap).
Buy.com has it for $288.78 (see:
http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=10328770&loc=101&queryType=comp url might wrap).
I then purchased a Colorvision Spyder (see:
http://www.colorvision.com/store/monitor.shtml ) to do my monitor hardware calibration...
Hope this helps...
Terrie
