Thank you all for your replies.

Never said that.

I am a member of a small muddy enclave of cultish holdouts hidden in the
Pacific Northwest rainforest who still are not using "that" software.
Our internet connection has not yet been discovered and dismantled. Due
to a lot of inbreeding our software choices are open to question. I was
not aware of the EyeOne Pro package.

I have had a Spectrocam for years. If Gretag supported Spectrocam, well,
that would truly qualify as a shock. It doesn't need MT support though,
because of the excellent software that comes with Spectrocam.
Unfortunately one of the wolf/dog pack here decided it was a chew toy,
hence the EyeOne purchase.

Of course, and I do that on a regular basis.

I didn't do my homework and unearth that package, sounds like what I was
after.

Precisely. If you really have personal contact info, and are that tight
with them, I doubt the old hard-line element here in the enclave will
allow you to visit. I'll work on it, bring shiny sparkly things <g>.

For printer profiles I've been happily using Profiler Pro since beta, so
I do need to save out text files of measurement data as well as checking
dot gain info for CMYK profiles. I also exchange data with a friend
using ProfileMakerPro so we can compare info about inksets, papers, and
printers. So again, text data files are needed. I also do a lot of work
with Quad tone inksets, which require a variety of measurements at
various stages including final linearization. There will be a variety of
tasks I can use the EyeOne for when StudioPrint is installed here.
Monitor calibration too, all the usual stuff.
The EyeOne seems like a dandy device, I could not afford something
better. As Andrew has noted, with Measuretool, Excel, some Lindbloom
excellent spread sheets, and no personal life to speak of I can do
everything I need. Regarding your package purchase, it seems to me that
many companies are attempting to gain market share by offering these
all-in-one solutions, and that's great. Many affordable options are now
available for a variety of users. But there are a lot of silly people
like me, just beyond entry level, that have muddier needs.
