You need a Spectrophotometer but you don't need to build profiles?
The cost of the EyeOne Pro (the true Spectrophotometer) is pretty much the
same (if not identical) with our without software.
I only know of two Spectrophotometer's off hand that can read strip/spot and
that's the EyeOne or Spectrocam. The later is a bit less expensive I think
(I really haven't priced one in a long time). That product isn't supported
in MeasureTool.

You can use EyeOne in MeasureTool directly. It will save out the spectral
data in the format MeasureTool saves (and you can mess with the format in
Excel or similar). If you don't to build profiles but only measure stuff,
the MeasureTool will do the job. You can save out the data and build inside
of ProfileMaker Pro or EyeOne Match if you wanted.
GM does have a package and colorimeter that ONLY handles the display if
that's what you were after. EyeOne Display for $249.
