Yellow monitor profile.

Hi all

I have a strange phenomenon happening when profiling a Mitsubishi Diamond Plus 93SB.
I have profiled this monitor several times before to 6500K , Gamma 2.2 using PM 4.1.5 and i1 pro. On each occasion it has produced a reasonable profile.

On this occasion, having gone through the usual steps of setting brightness, contrast and RGB gain, I created the profile and everything seemed to go as normal. When asked if I wanted to set the monitor profile as the system profile I accidentally said yes.

I am running the 93SB as second monitor off a G4 1Ghz powerbook OSX 10.2.7, so the system profile is usually set to the PB display.

When I clicked on the new profile in the Monitors control pannel, the 93SB went really yellow, even more yellow than D50. If I click on an older monitor profile made with the same settings, the monitor returns to normal.

I have tried creating a new profile aboout 5 times under different lighting conditions, including black.
I have tried resetting the monitor to default factory settings.
I have looked at the old and new profile in ColorThink 3D graphing and they overlap identically.

The monitor looks fine all through the calibration, and even after the profile is made but the moment you touch the monitiors color tab, it all turns yellow.

Is there any way to reset the video card in this machine (if that may be causing this problem)? Could having set the CRT monitor to the system profile (normally LCD) have triggered this. I have since reprofiled the LCD and set it as the system profile.
Any ideas out there.

Thanks,

Simon Olding
