resetting video card

Thanks to those who replied re my connection.

Does anyone know how I can return my video card in a new powerbook G4
to its factory settings? The ard is a built in PCi GeForce FX Go5200
32MB. I posted a question about a yellow monitor profile eirlier in the
week and I have a suspicion that the LUT info for the built in LCD
screen is somehow being loaded for the external CRT I have attached.
I have reprofiled the CRT many times but get the same result, a very
yellow white point no matter what white point I select in Profile
Maker calibration.

I attached another monitor and profiled it and got the same result.

As a test I loaded the G4 LCD profile into the Display>Color setting as
the profile for the CRT and got the same yellow result.

If I load the old CRT monitor profile from prior to this problem, I get
a neutral result again.

If I reinstall the OS (10.2.7), will it reset the card. I believe video
information is no longer in pRAM so resetting this should make no
difference?
I am stuck as I cannot make a profile for my external display so I
cannot trust it.

Thanks for any ideas.
