It can be done, but you will need extra plugins to the RIP. The extra you
need is HIPP. This enables ICC profile usage within the RIP. Without this
and RGB-CMYK conversions are appalling. If you don't have the plugin then
you can get at the black curve by clicking on the color options in your page
setup.
