In the PG 3500, the heat development and transfer mechanism is same as
the PG 3000, the donor material wraps around a heated drum. But I'm not
sure that our PG 3500 is the same model as those sold in the US. (It
reminds me of Epson's mysterious model numbers ;-)
We have been successfully using PG 3000 and PG 4000 as profiled
printers for years. As you mentioned, PG 4000 is more prone to uneven
development due to the heated belt mechanism. But In our PG 3500, we
have more unevenness than that. So I was wondering if someone
experiencing the same.
