Can you clarify if this behavior is a property of NSImage, or the
underlying core graphics that does the actual rendering? In other
words, does NSImage stick the display's profile in the graphics
context, or does it omit the profile in which case core graphics
infers the default?
It happens when AppKit goes to display an NSImage, AppKit gets the
embedded profile from the NSImage and passes it to core graphics for
the rendering.
