Greetings all, I've got a couple of questions that I was wondering if anyone
could help me with...
1.) I'd like to use a Spectrolino to get read in density values from press
sheets. I've previously heard that spectrophotometers can't actually measure
density values and that any such values are merely simulated. Does anyone
have any information on this topic?
2.) Also, I was wondering if anyone had any input on the best setup (in
Gretag's Key Wizard) for reading density (i.e. What filter to use, etc.).
3.) Lastly, I also heard a rumor from someone that there is an equation that
can be used to calculate density from Lab values. Does anyone know of such
an equation and of its accuracy.
Thanks,
Bob Castles
