Dear list
I think my colleague Greg Remington already has posted this, but again, we
think with Calibr8-IP it _IS_ possible to stay 100 % ICC compatible ( Hi Jan
Peter ! ;-) and to prove this we have
uploaded our demos (Mac is in English,PC is switchable to German / English)
to our website.
http://www.yxymaster.com/download/Cb8_IP_MAC_Demo.sit
http://www.yxymaster.com/download/Cb8_IP_PC_Demo.exe
If anybody seriously interested wants to check this out with his/her own
photos
we will even supply you with a target just for the shipping costs (airmail),
just send us your request, the first 20 responses will get this free also.
The Demo does everything the full version does with he exception of saving
the
tagged pictures.The Preview is calibrated,there4s a histogram and a
colorpicker to judge the results.
BTW, I believe Adobe Camera Raw is a good product, but I4d offer to compare
the output,
our solution is oriented within a straight ICC compatible workflow, which
will offer all
professional users and their Image sources highest compatibility and
integration,
leaving the original image Data intact, just tagging additional info about
the lighting situation.
The tagged ICC automatically gets the exact name of the file it was created
from.
There is support for adding Database driven filenaming for catalogue
production.
And yes, we support 16 bit directly................(no raw at the moment).
Our DLL and library can be integrated in about anything dealing with
imageprocessing.
So expect some more products show up with this functionality.
We would be glad if anybody feels free to offer criticism, we are still
learning and
any good hint will bring us all progress.
Thank you in advance

At least it must be an integrated solution with image-analysis and

(problems are still there when the photographed objects have heavy
