Yes they can, I do all my color critical work on Apple Cinema and Studio
LCDs, calibrated with a Spyder.

Worded that way you appear to be asking which Spyder bundle to buy. If
that's the question, that the real choice is between the Spyder with OptiCAL,
which offers more features, controls, and settings, and the Spyder with
PhotoCAL, which is simpler for the first time user, but without the range of
controls OptiCAL offers.
