Can I recommend the 23" instead? There are some technical advantages , ones
that make viewing, display uniformity, colour better , maybe much better
than the 22"..
I'm starting to get used to the 18" LaCie Blue11 LCD here and love it. In
fact the other lot of 22" CRT's are becoming second monitors and the LCD the
main monitor. This monitor calibrates very well with the BlueEye Calibrator.
When I cal / profiled the Apple 22" with Gretag and the results where not
what I would have liked to rely on for photography screen-centric colour
corrections. Much of that has changed, Gretag's Profile Maker, Color
Vision's Spyder, Optical and even the MacOsX has allowed for improved cal /
profiles.
That said I would say that as a photographer now you can switch to a good
LCD , especially the 23" Apple, if you need the super large surface.
