I quote Roger Breton of Jan 12:
"Creative pro has an excellent article on Monitor Calibration and
viewing
conditions entitled "The Darkroom Makes a Comeback". It talks at length
about ISO-3664 and 12646 standards.

Good articles! And 32 Lux is really dark!

hello listmembers
is there any specification for the ambient light, when
working with
color-critical pictures on a CRT?
My monitors are set to 6500 Kelvin, at the moment, I'm using
fluorescenc-tubes (daylight). They hang , a few meter away,
at the
bottom of the monitors, so there isn't any light falling
directly on
the screen.
Is this correct ??
thankyou as alwith, montespluga
