thanks for that link, I did know creativpro. but not that paper:

> software will be able to measure your current ambient light
when characterizing your monitor. Typically you would need to get your
lighting down to below 50 lux if you are calibrating to Gamma 1.8.<


When doing the calibratiation and profiling I can keep the other lights easely down, until zero.
The "normal" viewing and working environnement is queit more tricky to bring to these ISOS-standarts.

The 32 Lux are really dark, therefore my next question:
How is practically your ambient light set up ??
