Thanks for the comments David.
I havent actually bought the printer in as much as it was given to me (had
to fork out for the carts though!) so nothing to lose really. My 870
produces really good A4s but I think I'll check out the 2100.
Regarding the lighting; as much as it kind of goes against the object of
profiling I'm going to try tweaking the profile so it matches under my
lighting.
I'm loathed to just throw it in the bin!
Theres a Cartridge World not far from here who will refill the ink carts
with none pigment and reset the chips so I may try that.
I was under the impression that the droplet size was larger on the pigment
inks so it may not be totally suitable.
