Thanks guys for your comments on the issue of Epson Printer Driftespecially in
regards to the media. That's the one variable I hadn't considered, although
in this case I'd tend to think that's not the culprit. We use Epson Photo Paper
about 85% of the time which is usually bought in lots of about 3000 sheets. Any
comments on the weather Epson media or inks might exhibit greater inconsisitancy?
An off list responder also mentioned that checking for shifts specific to hue,
chroma and mid-tone densities might indicate a problem with one variable over
another. A hue shift being more associated with an ink problem, chroma with a
media issue and mid-tone densities more indicative of worn print heads. These
certainly sound plausable, however I'd need some steerage or on how best to
check for those specific deltas.
