Try moving your monitor & Mac to a different location in your workspace. Pay particular attention to the location of power lines (even 110V), electric motors, hi fi speakers, and fluorescent lights & their associated ballasts anywhere nearby when you have the monitor lit up.

From your address I wouldn't even rule out the possibility of sunspot activity; you're far enough North for the radiation associated with the Northern Lights to affect CRT's under some circumstances. That radiation is still present even though the sun hardly sets up there this time of year.
