could you point the most popular brand/
models you have seen in use, both for mac/windows platforms?
I think if LCDs from LaCie are so good as they CRTs...

I totally agree with Hutch in this thread. The Sony 232 is an excellent
choice if you like the control provided by the display. I have never worked
with the LaCie so I cannot comment.
