Device Link Profile or Simuilation Profile (sorta)
Soruce Profile to Simulaton Profile to Destination Profile
If I want to simulate what a printout would look on another printer by way
on mine, is the is right patch to take thru IQueue?
If I create a Device Link Profile using the device I want to match and my
own printer and run an image thru IQueue, does the source image get
converted to the simulated printer space able to be proofed on my printer
and bypassing the Lab conversin?
I guess my question is buliding device link profiles in Monaco, how do I
use them to simulate the output of other printers on my own.
I build a profile for someone and I would like to print out an image to
compare to what they print out thru their new profile, i.e., I want to
simulate their output (using their profile) on my printer
I was getting the impression that Device Link Profiles does this in a more
accurate way (preserving black) with IQueue.
Can someone clarify the ROLE of Device Link Profiles and confirm the
simulation process?
Thanks,
cb
