Only the liberation of calibrated monitors from prepress dungeons... if I am
to calibrate the prepress CRTs in the basement to those standards, then what
am I to do for the editor, who will choose which of these images to use, who
has a corner office on the third floor? My answer is to recommend she get a good
LCD, then calibrate it at maximum luminance, whitepoint of 6500, and give her
something she can at least see the images on. For less extreme circumstances,
something in between is more appropriate.
