That sounds a good idea,

Are these inks more fade resistant than Lyson inks?
On the right papers (see Wilhelm) there will not be much
difference between Lyson Fotonic and Epson 10000 dye.
The 10000 dye is the same dye as used in 1270/1280/1290 and the
dye version of the 7600/9600.
In the USA there's a separate set of Yellow and Light Magenta dye
available in 9000 carts to make the normal dyes used in the
7000/9000 equal to the dye set above. You have to check what the
cheapest solution per ML is, in Europe it doesn't have to be
10000 carts.
Lyson isn't the cheapest solution + Lyson's fade figure tables on
their site suck. The Epson dye carts are available everywhere and
they have more or less made their fade figures more conservative
+ solved the orange plague problem. MIS and Lincolninks have dye
inks comparable to the ones mentioned here.
