The profile is built by Thomas Knoww from Adobe Based on the ISO 12647-2
standard, from the Fogra 1 dataset (available at www.fogra.org along with
specifications). If your printer print according to these specifications
the
profile will yield great results. If not, who knows...
...and lacking anything more specific it is a pretty good place to start. I
had to resort to this profile recently and the results were more than
acceptable.
