SuperCal 1.1.3 feedback requested

  • Subject: SuperCal 1.1.3 feedback requested

Has anybody tried and explored the SuperCal 1.1.3 monitor
calibration/profiling software package?
(Shareware, $19 per user license, download at
http://bergdesign.com/supercal/software/SuperCal_1.1.3.sit)

According to its creators, it is capable of creating professional-quality
prolfiles without using any mechanical measuring instruments, only through a
series of adjustments made via the user's eyes. I would like to know if
anyone has been able to achieve satisfactory, high-quality monitor profiles
with SuperCal, and how they stack up to ones created with a mechanical
measuring device (say, the EyeOne with basICColor Display) on the same
monitor.

Thank you for your input.
