Perhaps the hardware gray balance was not perfect at the time of calibration
so the additional corrections come in the form of software gray balance. So
that, when the Mac is sending RGB=25,255,255 to the video card, the VCGT in
the profile does correct that further. This maybe visible by inspecting the
profile in ColorThink?
