8180 was definitely darker than Epson's Commercial Proofing Paper. I was
able to get about .15-.20 more density out of it. Although I haven't tested
it, I would expect that 7180 (gloss) would be at least equal or perhaps
better than 8180 (semigloss). Results on other printers I've used lead me to
believe that 8180 and 7180 would behave similarly. Keep in mind that both
the 8180/7180 papers are very white possibly requiring AbsCol rendering.
