Just a quick note to say I've abandoned the new driver for the time being.
Reverting to the previous driver has me printing via USB with both Matte
and Photo black inks...something I couldn't say with the new driver. Epson
technical support instructed another user a procedure for installing the
new driver that involved enabling the root account! Unbelievable!
