Something interesting happened in printing a client's image with the
Epson 9600, mattle black ink, latest Epson OS X driver, in 10.2.6.
This was the first client job I printed using the newest OS X Epson
driver Jaguar, and the results were terrible. Drab. No life. Dreary.
Unsaleable.
Printed same image in OS 9.2.2 with FW, got perfect print.
I used the custom icc profile for the ink set, printer, and Epson
Enhanced Matte paper, that I created using OS 9.2.2, for both tries.
Is it possible I need to create a new custom under OS 10.2.6 with the
new Epson driver? Doesn't make sense to do this though. I
profiled the the printer, not the driver.
I also have the latest firmware update.
Anyone else have this happen? Any thoughts?
Cheers
