If it has to be Ilford chemistry as well then you could use the
Ilford Archiva ink in your 3000.
It has been done before and www.lincolninks.com can sell you also
Wide Spectrum inks in 9000 carts that fit the 3000 too.
Wide Spectrum inks are based on Ilford Archiva. The drying will
still be slower than with nanoporous coatings. But the Classic
prints last longer because the ink is encapsulated in the
gelatine/PVA coating. With the Epson OEM 10000/1270 dye inks the
same will happen. The Eposn Colorlife paper is extremely similar
to Ilford's Classic Pearl paper so ..............
The nice colourmanagement of the new software may not work then
anymore :-)
