I always refuse to troubleshoot workflows until the user turns off autopilot
by setting Photoshop's color settings to something other than ColorSync, thus
allowing settings to be set and checked in the Photoshop colorsettings,
without invisible settings from the ColorSync preferences being involved. I suspect
that doing this might fix your issue instantly, but even if it does't, it will
allow easier communication about your settings.
