You are asking for the most complex of printing solutions: a postscript
capable, color managed, proof quality system. This isn't something you buy at
Staples for pocket money. Its something rather more complex than what you have
now
( which is whay you aren't satisfied with your current color), and rather more
expensive.
If, on the other hand, you chose to print to the RGB driver from non-Quark
applications like Photoshop and InDesign, you could get what you are asking
for
much less expensively. As for the clogging issue; inkjets need a certain
humidity level and fairly frequent use. That will be true of any replacement
inkjet
you purchase as well.
