There are quite a few utilities for managing ICC profiles.
I think he wants to organize the profiles inside of Photoshop. Not really
doable (with those utilities?) although there are separate locations for
profiles that Adobe places in Application support so they can "separate"
their preferred profiles from others (and use the "advanced" check box in
color settings to again separate).
I suppose you could place some profiles in the same location as where Adobe
places theirs but that's not really going to provide that much control over
separation inside of Photoshop.
Years ago there was a goodie that allowed users to organize (hide and show)
plug-in's within Photoshop. Be cool if that could be done today with
profiles.
