I have had a blast creating 72dpi RGB Files for years. Finally, I
would like
to output to a plotter. My first attempt with a local printer left me
researching RGB to CMYK conversions that left my hopeful pictures
looking
drab at best on screen. I have been doing my research, but need
direction.
Here's where I have gone.
Primary questions:
1. Monitor calibration. Apple 20" seemingly calibrated
2. Conversion technique. Making the most of a PhotoShop 72 dpi RGB
conversion to CMYK. Results on screen are abominations
My question for now is what print driver might give me the most
predictable
outcome for setting color. I realize this is a wide open question;
but, I
once worked at a company with a plotter that printed my original RGB
very
satisfactory. Any assistance is appreciated.

Why do they have you going to CMYK.
You plotter should be an RGB interpreter.
