Hello to the list.
I know that David Macy of EFI made a comprehensive description
of how the Fiery RIPs work. But there are some points left
unclear to me and maybe someone at this list can help me:
Question 1:
David wrote (long ago, and I dont know if he still works for EFI):

but can work with multiple source profiles defined in page elements as

PostScript CSAs.
Ok, the Fiery can work with different _source profiles_ when they are CSAs.
But what about different rendering intents? To use them, it must be possible
to define different CRDs. Is that possible?
Question 2:
The Printer Driver allows me to specify a RGB Source Profile _NONE_.
Is that like using the good old device dependent postscript conversion
from RGB to CMYK?
Thank you very much.
