All that most rational people ask of a proofing system is that it
serves as a reliable predictor of the final manufactured piece. They
don't really care if the system uses ICC profiles, proprietary
transforms, or voodoo dolls to get there.
In order for people to stop cutting them selves, you have to take the razor blades away
to some extent, but still leave the applications open ended for those who want to play
with knives.
Harmonize a file from a known default separation transcribed from RGB, tweened to the
output via a dlink or 4D concept.
It's not that hard guys and neither should pins in the dolls.
