How do I create a profile for ImagePrint?

If Eric or someone else with experience of making profiles for ImagePrint could help me I'd be gratefull.

The color profiles can vary on the 2200 but I almost think of ImagePrint
as a platform for creating your own custom ICC profiles.

I have used ImagePrint for fine art prints on a 9600 and have always been happy with the results.
But today I was asked to cerate a custom profile for EpsonProof SemiMatte for a 2100 (2200) because the photographer wasn't happy with the standard profile from Colorbyte.

As far as I can tell he had turned all color management of before printing the TC9.18. The testcharts look lighter than the ones I'm used to see when measuring testcharts for profiles on Epson printers through the Epson driver, is this normal? I've read the ImagePrint Users Manual about how to turn of color management but perhaps I've missed something?

I measured the testcharts in Eye-one Match and then compared the new profile with Colorbyte's profile in ColorThink and the profile I'd measured were much "smaller", black- and whitepoint were good but the colors were much "less intense". Anyone have any idea what have gone wrong, should I use ProfileMaker instead?

Thanks in advance,
Eva-Terez
