You can't say 'yuck' in absolute terms. Everything is relative in color. Our
eyes perception, our white point adaptation. Are you able to quantify how
'yuck' what you see is?
What is your calibrated monitor white point? What is your printer media
white chromaticities? How do the two compare? Are you able to measure the
chromaticities of Photoshop CS Simulated Pper white? Any relationship with
the actual chromaticities of your paper media chromaticities? Barring any
adaption effects, I always believe these two should correspond. Or bear a
close relationship.
