Getting Profiles into Colorsynch

Hi,

In an effort to improve results from my 7600 Ultrachrome printer I have tried to get my Atkinson profiles
into System/Library/Colorsynch/Profiles (on Mac 10.2.8) but keep getting a message telling me the
profile folder cannot be modified. Anyone have any good ideas?
