Please let me explain what the difference is between FlexScan L985EX and
ColorEdge CG21. The particular features which the CG21 has while the
L985EX doesn't are as following.

- Factory Adjustment of Gamma
Eizo, at its own factory in Japan, measures and adjusts all of 256 signal
level per each RGB per each single unit for ColorEdge series by high-
accuracy measurement tool. This production process makes each gamma value
accurate and consistent. A certificate of the adjustment result comes with
each ColorEdge in the box.

- Hardware calibration Calibration System
The ColorEdge comes with a calibration software ColorNavigator which was
developed as to maximize synergy among the combination of dual-domain IPS
panel, superior ASIC developed by Eizo. The ColorNavigator accesses to
monitor's LUT and other circuitries directly through USB connection and
changes the LUT properties and brightness for accurate color reproduction.

With these 2 features, the ColorEdge monitors provides with very smooth
gamma curve with no visible bandings. For more information, please take a
look at our white paper.

This is not so.

They both use a 10-bit lookup table.
