OK. What confuses me is the tagging before opening in ColorThink.
What I don't understand is why, if I use CT to convert the image *to the same profile* I get a shift in color (i.e., big, long vectors at all image points). This does not occur when the original, untagged data is tagged with ProPhoto instead of Adobe, and the same exercise is carried out. The profiles behave very differently.
Not sure either. Off hand, the big difference (other then gamut) is the two spaces have different gammas (1.8 versus 2.2).
