The short answer to short question:)))))))))))))
It's a little bit tricky, but YES, it can be done. You need KeyWizard 2.5 to
take transmissive measurements (I don't know any other software which
support i1 in "fake" transmissive mode), 1-2 hours to take measurements
(patch by patch on light table, sorry), Microsoft Excel (or any other table
editor to make "calibration" and calculations), and any profiling software
you like.

It's advisable but not necessary. Lets say, you can calibrate the device
virtually to any light by dividing spectral datas by specral datas of clear
backlit.
