Correct. I in fact use NikonTransfer to embed this very profile. I
believe this leaves it tagged AdobeRGB and no actually IN AdobeRGB. Is
that true?
I asked this very question to Nikon.
Their response was this:
"Adobe RGB" and "Nikon Adobe RGB" are the same. If the profiles are
examined there is a difference in the black point setting where Adobe
specifies the black to be "0" and we leave it blank (which defaults to
"0") so the end results are exactly the same from a conversion
standpoint.
Is this a true statement or is it technically in error?
