Question re: PM5

OK, I'm new to PM5, and I'm stuck. I've profiled a LCD monitor with the 99 patch target. I now want to run stats on the profile using Measure Tool-->Compare. Can't get it to work. The online help states, "You can import existing ProfileMaker ICC profiles into the Comparing window. The integrated values are then read out automatically." Not in my experience. The profile gets opened and the patches are displayed, but the data are not entered into the Compare window. Without using the Import function, I can open and read the data stored prior to building the profile, but I can't get the ref data entered. ("The test chart file does not contain measurement data of CIE type (Error 20718).") Am I off track? I really want to work on output profiles, but thought this would be an easy place to start...
TIA,

P.S. It's interesting that Match 3 only allows the 42 patch target for LCD monitors.
