I don't comment on the printer profilation. As I'm biased I also won't
comment which display profiling package I think is the best one. But
believe me that in contrast to other statements I've read, my personal
experience is that the profiling package for displays really give
different results - some are very similar (which is the goal of CM), but
others lead to colored bands in gray scales which should be neutral. Also
the profile quality how close a specific Lab color will be reproduced.
There are also differences. If possible test the profiling/calibration
package with your display and compare to a ColorChecker (like described
in RWCM). The visual appearance of different calibrations/profiles will
also differ in saturation (in PS, using the right monitor profile)... Be
aware that the spectra of the proofing illumination has a significant
impact on the appearance of the ColorChecker or proof print.
