RGB Working Space(s)

I am hoping the group can help me settle a little argument that keeps
banging around in my head.

I am a photographer that shoots transparency film, using a workflow that is
mainly for inkjet output. When I first started learning CM, my RGB workspace
was Adobe98. After a lot of reading and gaining confidence, I began using
BestRGB as my workspace. I made this move because I don't really know what
my final use/output may ultimately be, and did not want to be backed in a
corner i.e. film recorder.

For various reasons I now feel like Best RGB is perhaps overkill and may
present some issues down the pike i.e. perhaps a lot of editing/correction
on an image. I am considering moving back to Adobe98...any pros/cons?

Thanks in advance,

Dan
