(1) An incomplete PDF project released in 2000 as the icc abc series,
written with Heidelberg and X-Rite, explained why there is a
discrepancy of 2D in L* as between the Digital Swatchbook and the DTP

Dear Ray
It seems a little 'trite' of me to just say many thanks for such a
comprehensive response as regards the colour accuracy of the Digital
Swatchbook. Whilst it would be easy for me to take heart from what you
write, I am a questioning person by nature but I do not have the
resources to carry out my own tests to verify how right or wrong either
you or Henrik are!
The fact of the matter is as far as I am concerned the instrument works
for the purpose it was bought for so I have no real complaints!
Cheers
Richard
