Go for spectral. It will give ProfileMaker a chance to detect optical brighteners in your papers and you will also have the option to build profiles based on different illuminants if you have color balancing problems later.

Use the 9.18 target for RGB profiling and the ECI target for CMYK. They are large enough to effectively sample your devices. They also both oversample neutrals for better neutral rendering.
