You DO want to save spectral data (that's the default in the ProfileMaker
module but you need to set it in NeasureTool). I don't know that there is
any speed hit. If you don't get spectral data, you can't alter the
white-point of the profile when building in PMP.

Use the TC918 target for RGB (not the 288). The DTP-41 will be faster but
you'll have to feed it. You'll also get more profile averaging and setting
the Spectroscan for 5 readings per patch will take a very long (but
unattended) time on your part. I think the Spectroscan takes about 45
minutes to read one page for 918 patch target.

For RGB there are not too many options. Use Logo Chroma Plus. I'd use the
Preserve Gray Axis option (which only affects use of the profile with
Perceptual intent). IF the device is linear and well behaved, the default
profile size is fine otherwise use Large.
